+ How are you different from every other youth-led nonprofit?

Love to All Project believes that sociocultural change must be approached holistically. + Why do you use the word “queer”?

Historically, “queer” was a pejorative term used as a slur against LGBTQ+ people. Its reappropriation and reclamation dates back at least to the Stonewall Rights in 1969, when LGBTQ+ activists used slogans such as “We’re here. We’re queer. Get used to it.” to protest injustices and discrimination. We use “queer” with love and respect for the gay rights advocates who paved the way for LGTBQ+ activism.
